The Hyundai Veloster hatchback is currently being redesigned and is being built into a hybrid between the hatchback and the coup, giving it a full sports car look. The new 2019 Hyundai Veloster N will be in the same segment as the 2018 Honda Ridgeline and belongs to Hyundai’s new N variant with the specific focus on performance. The N sub-brand has been created by Hyundai to refer to its sports model cars and its mission is to promote the Hyundai N products as hot and sleek sports models.

The design of the 2019 Veloster N has specifically kept in mind the mission of the N brand and has been given a clean and neat front and a chunky rear bumper. There are large side vents on the front bumper and a splitter at the bottom. Then there are three doors; two at the passenger side and one opening on the driver’s side. The car is fitted with 10 spoke wheels and each wheel has big disk brakes.

Two masculine looking exhaust pipes are positioned into the bumper. Though a compact car, there is a tall extension attached to the rear of the car that gives it a taller look and is almost the same height of the wing unit attached to the Honda Civic Type R.
This also will improve the aerodynamics of the car, giving better stability while being driven at a high speed. It is also observed that headlights are thinner than the earlier model though the car has an overall wider wheel base.
Hyundai Veloster N 2019 Interior
The interiors of the all new Hyundai Veloster N has not yet been disclosed, but we can guess that it should be an enhanced and better version of the standard Hyundai Veloster’s cabin with a contemporary design. The improved display and infotainment system are fitted with a LED Screen. The car is also said to have a satellite radio and the audio player will be blue-tooth and Aux enabled.

The steering wheel is flat-bottomed set on top of a digital instrument cluster. Parking sensors with the rear-view camera are fitted into the car. The design would naturally include upholstery that will be attractive and customized as per the requirement of the customer.
The front seats have been inspired by the seats of racing cars and the back seats would have more leg room. All the items inside will be stamped with the N badges to brand this make further.
The engine will be powerful and will be driven on four cylinders that will be turbo charged. It will run on petrol and the capacity is said to be either 1.6 liters or 2.0 liters. The output will be channeled to the front wheels and would be around 250 or 280 horsepower.
The transmission is assumed to be manual with six-speed options but it is expected that Hyundai will also build one model option with an automatic transmission. The pickup time of 5.5 seconds with the top speed of 155 miles per hour gives the car an additional oomph factor to allure buyers.
Price and Release Date
The pricing for the car is estimated to be around $ 25,000 to $ 27,000. It is expected to be released by the end of 2018 and definitely not before the auto-show season in 2018.
Overall the car has an aggressive appearance and sports car enthusiasts will love it’s get up. Once it is released, it will give a tight competition to the 2018 Honda Ridgeline.
