In European Markets, the 2018 Hyundai Kona will be presented with two more engine options. One is a 1.6-liter diesel engine and the other one is a turbocharged three-cylinder 1.0 T-GDI engine which can boost 120PS and a torque of 172 NM. With the turbocharged engine, the top speed attained by new Kona is 181 km/h and the acceleration time to reach from 0-100 km/h is 12 seconds.
Price and Release date
The new Hyundai Kona will be available at the dealership in Korea by the end of June 2017, where as in Europe it will be available for sale by the end of 2017. Americans will get their hands on this beauty in the beginning of 2018. The final price has not been set by the Korean maker, however, while keeping other competitors’ models in mind one can expect a price nearly $20,000 for the base trim and higher for upper models.
