The Company will make some minor tweaks to the exterior design, but however, don’t expect too many differences compared to the previous model. 2018 BMW 4-Series Exterior design
As we wrote in the introduction, the exterior design of the most recent model will be slightly improved. However, we can expect some parts that will be upgraded like for example the Bi-LED headlights, taillights and fog lights. Adaptive LEDs are optional. Those parts will be exactly the same in all models of 4-series. Also, according to Company, we can expect the newly wheels for all the trims. Those wheels will be made from light aluminum(M4) and aluminum in 18 and 19-inch sizes. We can also expect more exterior colors options, and that addition of some new ones like for example Snapper Rocks Blue or Sunset Orange. With these new colors, this model looks even nicer.

When it comes to some other details from the outside, the most recent 4-Series will provide a high dose of aggressiveness from the front side thanks to the updated and slightly thinner kidney grille. This grille will be connected with the headlights in the same way as before. Also, down low, this model will provide a bit large openings for fog lights as well as more muscular bumper with the larger air intakes.
BMW 4-Series 2018 Interior design
The interior design of the approaching 4-Series will also get some minor modifications. However, the design changes are not so visible, and we can expect only improved steering wheel (it will be sporty), gloss black center console as well as double stitching on the instrument panel. Also, according to Company, all customers can expect three new upholstery colors(Carbon Aluminium, Light Fineline and High-gloss Black with Pearl Chrome strip). Everything else will remain pretty much the same and all seats will be covered with the premium leather. Also, the same thing we can expect with the steering wheel and the dashboard. Besides leather, this model will also provide some aluminum parts. More changes we can expect in the technology department.
So, we can see the newest iteration of the iDrive infotainment system which is very good news for all customers. The entertainment in the cabin will be significantly improved. Also, there will be optional Multifunctional Instrument Display that will use the screen to provide different gauge pieces of information based on the car current mode. On the display, you can choose different drive modes: COMFORT, super-efficient ECO PRO(BMW EfficientDynamics technologies), and the SPORT mode for higher performance. Some of the other standard interior features will just like as before including dual zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, a lot of safety features as well as a lot
of connectivity options, and many others as well.
