The E-Class is one of the varieties of luxury sedans manufactured by Mercedes-Benz, the car giant from Germany. It was first introduced to the market in 1993, and it was offered in both coupe and convertible body styles. During its survival in the market, the automaker has offered the model with a variety of powertrains for an enhanced performance and fuel competence. The 2018 Mercedes E-Class Coupe is the adaptation of the current model but is expected to be crammed with more technological features that the earlier model, according to the expectations of modern buyers.
2018 Mercedes E-Class Coupe Changes
The body form of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe will be similar to the body shape of the E-Class Wagon. However, it may slightly differ from the model by getting some redesigned external elements. It also comes with a more ground clearance than the of the outgoing model and Airmatic front and back air suspensions, and many latest elements to vie competently with its major class contestants, XC70 from Volvo and A6 ALLROAD from Audi.
The new E-Class Coupe is expected to be offered with plastic dressed broader wheel curves, revamped bumpers in the front and at the back, and innovative side skirts. Other body panels are similar to those of its predecessor, but the new vehicle would get a more attractive and sleeker outside look.
The length of the wheelbase of the new coupe will be equal to that of the four-door E-Class sedan of Mercedes-Benz. Back part of the new coupe comes with an improved design when compared to that of the C-Class Coupe.

Mercedes E-Class Coupe 2018 Interior
This time, the interior changes in the E-Class Coupe will be much restricted. The middle console will be similar to that of the C-Class and its cockpit resembles that of the standard E-Class.
The cabin comes equipped with t similar dashboard as that of the wagon and most of its components will be borrowed from the S-Class. It also includes a big exhibit in the center, instrument cluster, center console, and four circular air conditioning vents, which are positioned between the infotainment systems. The new E-Class Coupe will be offered with the 12.3-inch infotainment display as standard, whereas an 8.4-inch instrument display exhibit would come as an optional feature. Optionally you could get these screens combined(both infotainment and instrument) in 12.3-inch size. You can choose over display 4 drive modes: Comfort, ECO, Sport, and Sport+. The 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe will be offered with a 6-cylinder, 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged power unit that offers the vehicle the maximum power output of 329 horsepower @ 5,250-6,000 RPM and 354 lb-ft of torque @@ 3,500-5,250 RPM (E400). It accelerate from 0-60 for 5,2 sec, with top speed of 130 mph. The automaker will also offer its new coupe with a V6 turbodiesel(not available in US) inline-six with the displacement of 3.0 liters, it gets 308 horsepower and 465 pound-feet. Handling is over a standard steel spring and shock suspension, or available air suspension. AMG E43 should also have V6 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged but with 450 horsepower and the extra twist of close to 400 pounds per foot.
The new Mercedes E-Class Coupe 2018 E63 should be offered with a V8 twin-turbocharged power unit (from AMG GT) with the capacity of 4.0 liters, which will offer the vehicle the maximum power of 604 horsepower and 627 pounds per foot. However, these powertrains will be offered later after the release of the new vehicle.
All powertrains will be mated to the 9G-Tronic nine-velocity automatic gearbox as standard and a 4Matic four-wheel-drive pattern as an option.
Price and the date of release
The expected date of release of the 2018 E-Class Coupe will be the concluding part of 2017. Price starts from $54,550(E400), unfortunately there is no prices for AMG E43 and E63, but be prepared to give siginicalty more.
