Audi, the renowned German auto manufacturer, introduced the RS5 model, which was a coupe version of A5, to the market as a 2010 model year vehicle. The model was revealed at the Motor Show in Geneva held in 2010 and it was released for sale during spring 2010. Now, for the model year 2018, Audi is going to release an all-fresh 2018 Audi RS5, which will have a more hostile body kit than that of its predecessor, and it is expected to be a more performance-focused machine. This is because it comes equipped with a more powerful engine with two turbochargers.
2018 Audi RS5 Changes
The front part of the 2018 RS5 comes with the same headlamps and hood with the well-developed character streaks as those of the standard Audi A5. The model uses new MLB platform, which lower total weight for 75 kg or 165 pounds. Dimension of coupe are slightly bigger, about 2, 9 inches or 7,4 cm, overall length is 185.9 inches or 4.72 m.
The grille of the vehicle also carries the same shape, but this time, it features the Quattro inscription at its base to complement the RS5 insignia on its left side. Although the air intakes at the corners have the same form, they are now bigger and have a large upright louver to the exterior. All lights will be LED technology, optionally you could get Matrix LED headlights shape. Furthermore, Audi added the very nice RS original diffuser insert. Standard wheels will be 19-inch aluminum, plus available 20-inch aluminum wheels.

The side outlines of the new RS5 are also identical to that of the A5, but it features a set of bigger, light alloy wheels, wearing high-performance tires.
Around rear, the new coupe is expected to come with the same tail lamps, but with a dissimilar lens design. Down beneath, the RS-exhaust pipes assume a diverse form and feature a special finish.
Audi RS5 2018 Interior
The interior of the 2018 Audi RS5 comes with some minor tweaks, as well. It is expected to come with a bigger multimedia interface infotainment system and a virtual cockpit of Audi. The cabin comes adorned with carbon fiber inlays, replacing the aluminum or wood inlays seen in the Audi A5. It also comes outfitted with an athletic, even-bottom steering wheel, replacing the standard unit in the A5. Some of the interior features available with the new model RS5 include:

The cabin comes prepared with innovative sport seats with augmented side supports and incorporated passages for a five-level harness. Although the seats come in numerous leather options, the headliner will be offered with the black color as standard.
Audi remains silent regarding the engine options of its new Audi RS5 2018. However, from reliable sources, it is learned that the new vehicle would come equipped with the same powertrain, used in the Audi RS4. As a result, it will be powered by a V6, biturbo engine (two turbochargers), with the displacement of 2.9 liters TFSI. This offers the new RS5 a whopping power of 450 ponies @ 5.700 rpm-6.700 rpm and 442.5 lb-ft of torque @ 5.000 rpm which is more than that of the earlier model. Transmission is the masterpiece, it is tuned 8-speed Tiptronic with shorter shift times to the standard Audi Quattro all-wheel drive. The engine also offers the vehicle better acceleration than that of the A5, this beast will go from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds, top speed is astonishing 280 km/h or 174.0 mph. Considering the power of this engine, combined fuel consumption is pretty much solid 8.7 l/100 kilometers or 27.0 US mpg.

Date of release and price
The automaker has not yet confirmed about the date of release and the price of the 2018 Audi RS5 coupe. However, it is expected that it will be available for sale during the concluding part of 2017. While the RS versions are normally priced approximately $20,000 in excess of their respective S counterparts, the new S5 will assume a price tag of $56,000, so the new model RS5 will most likely be available at a starting price of about $ 86,400 / 80,900 euros, without options.
